GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

To successfully oversee the operations of specified Packaging and Labeling line and its employees to adhere to all SOPs related to packaging and labeling and maintain line operation performance within company performance standards.



EDUCATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED:

Reading skills are essential for learning and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Material Safety Data Sheets, and job ticket information. Math skills are essential for documentation and reconciliation of the Packaging and Labeling job ticket. Writing skills are marginal but needed for communicating requests and Packaging and Labeling related problems.


EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

Must have marginal experience with mechanical applications, preferably production related. Must have experience in leadership applications.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally the job involves working around irritating noise levels. These levels are not damaging, but can be uncomfortable. Humco makes earplugs available. Occasionally the job involves working around machinery with exposed moving parts, which can pose a mechanical hazard if proper operating procedures are not followed. Also, in a typical workday, the job may involve working around fumes, dust, and chemical hazards. If a project requires actual contact with any product, Material Safety Data Sheet information provides instruction about protective equipment that must be worn.
